Pastors and ministry leaders live life caring for others.  Often we give even when our own resources grow thin. We strain to offer a sip of cool water to others when we ourselves are in need of drinking deeply from God’s living waters of grace, compassion, comfort, forgiveness, truth, and grace.  We ourselves need time to remember and experience being God’s beloved.  Only from that place can we begin to encourage others in their belovedness.

Groups of all types need a chance to be together in a restful, non-anxious, formative way.

Our retreats for all groups begin with the premise that First We Were Loved.  We begin with being still knowing that stillness before the Lord is the greatest work we can do (Ex 14:14).  It is in being quiet and restful with God that we find our salvation, our rest. It is where we receive forgiveness, where we learn to love our limits in the way that the One who gave them to us loves them.  In embracing our limits, God becomes Other, Mystery, and Lord. Our trained and certified spiritual directors, with many years of church leadership themselves, will lead your  group in guided a silent retreat based on the unique story and season your group is experiencing.

Your Half Day Retreat (8:30-12:00) ends with a time of sharing and encouragement about how various participants experienced God in that time and the graces and awareness of God’s presence they have received.  Often times, this is all a team needs in order to recalibrate and re-fill to continue in the work of loving others.

Your Full Day Retreat (8:30 – 3:00 w/brown bag or ordered in)  Spend the afternoon going deeper with one another in group or break out format.  The afternoon is yours to decide.  Enter into a more fruitful and less anxious conversation having been nurtured and restored in the presence of God.  Do you need to have restorative & relational conversations?  Do you need to pray into what work their is to be done?  Do you need to revisit the hopes or work of your group? These conversations are much better in the arms of God’s love.
